Postcard Valentine

You'll need..
A stamp (optional)
Paper (coloured or decorated)
Colouring supplies (optional)
An envelope
Pencil
Earser

1. Find a blank postcard. If you can't find one then grab a piece of coloured or decorated paper then trim it to make it look like a postcard. If the back isn't blank then glue on a blank piece of paper.
~mine is a paper with lots of quotes
2. Turn to the coloured side and add a stamp. It can be a fake one if you want, simply cut out a small rectangle, colour it then paste it to the upper corner of your postcard.
3. Now write the address. It can be completely made up with any kind of vibe- funny or sweet. Eg. Funny: Chocolate Fudge Streeet, 1367 Strawberry House.
4. Turn to the back and write down a message. You can turn this into an invite to a Valentine party if you want. Or you could write something such as "Because you're so sweet, I made this for you!".
Done! Now just put it in the envelope. If you don't have an envelope simply look here:

Rapper Duo Card

You'll Need..

A blank sheet of paper
A pencil
An earser
Colouring supplies
Some sort of fine liner

1. Fold the paper in half then position it so that the flap (the part that opens) faces towards you.
2. Start positioning your characters. Draw a big oval (the size of your character) in the position you want to place it. Draw a line for where the floor is.
3. Okay! Start drawing your characters! Look below for a mini guide.

MINI CHARACTER GUIDE

Our characters will be drawn in the cute, manga chibi style. Of course, our characters are rappers.
1. Draw a large circle to represent the head. Angle the circle based on the position your rappers are in. Then use an oval for the body, fingers and arms.
2. Do the same for the legs and feet only for the legs make a long, skinny oval that grows thinner as it reaches the ankle.
3. Now make the finer lines. Meaning using the guidelines we drew before draw the actual body- no clothes yet! I can't really describe how to draw the head so just look below. (^◇^;)
4. Now for the facial features! Everything in chibi style is rounder and cuter so keep this in mind.
5. Add the clothes and hair.
6. Fine line, colour and you're done!
MINI GUIDE OVER

 4. Now draw your background. My background is nothing special and needs no drawng done so I'll be skipping that step.
5. Add your title. This kind of card can be used to say things like "Best Friends Forever!" but in my case it's "Get Better Soon...Because Rapping Is More Fun With You!".
6. Time to fine line! Now the time to add any last minute changes. I decided to add a sort of striped silhouette.
~we gangstas and we know it!

7. Colour!

How To On Card Ideas

This is my guide on thinking up ideas for a card.

1. First, I think up what kind of card I want to make. Get well card? Valentines Day card?

2. Then I think of the person I'm sending the card too. Do they like manga? A certain cartoon? Are they uptight or do they enjoy a laugh?

3. Next I think of the shape and colour if the card. These all affect the mood. The next card I'm going to make is for a crazy,deranged,orang-loving bestfriend. I know she'd enjoy a good laugh so I decided on a card with a light, humorous attitude.

4. Any special designs they'd enjoy? The magic about handmade cards is that you can show them that you're willing to go the extra mile just to say "I care". If it's for someone like a bestfriend think back to an inside joke you both shared and see if you can incorporate that into the card.

5. Make the card! Glitter, feathers, add whatever you think adds to the mood!

I hope this post helped you...if you have any cards you want me to make it tutorials on manga characters (I haven't done a single one of those here but I am pretty good) please tell me~♥︎

Earth Without Art Card EASY

This card requires not much drawing talent. You just need to be able to draw big block letters and maybe simple doodles.

You'll Need.....

Pencil
Earser
Black marker,sharpie,fine liner ect.
Colouring supplies
Glitter (optional)
Ruler
Paper

1. Fold a piece of paper in half. Then, draw evenly measured lines across the page. I made mine an inch long. You can draw as many lines as you think you need, I drew six. The lines are optional- I drew them so that my letters can be straight. For the cover of this card we'll be writing THE EARTH WITHOUT ART IS JUST "EH"
2. Draw your letters. Make them big and bold and preferably block letters. If you can't draw block letters just write letters then outline them. Space them however you want. Small doodles are optional (earth next to EARTH Art written with paintbrushes ect.) Don't worry too much about earasing the extra lines, you can do that when you outline everything.
3. Finalize- is there anything you want to change? Once you're done, outline everything in bold black, or the colour you're going to colour them. Example: green EARTH = green marker outline. For the finer details in something thinner such as fine liner. Or black pen if you don't have any. That's what I did.
4. Wow! As you can see this is a very easy card as we're already almost done- and only one step four! Now it's time to earse all the extra lines. Again, any last minute details should be added NOW!
5. Colouring time! For this card it'll look great to use BIG, bold colours that stand. Also, chose a theme. My theme is bold, primary-like colours. For this reason I'm going to use pinks, blues, greens, yellows and reds. Rainbow is also eye-cathing plus easy. Now for the background I'm leaving it white. There're two reasons for this. 1. It's easy 2. It draws attention to the words. Another option is to leave it white with simple designs at the edges (ex. Rainbow swirls) or colour it lightly.
6. Almost there! Next just write a message on the inside. If you want, you can draw a mini cartoon on the bottom. Keep to the same colour theme.
7. You're done! Wow, was this tutorial easy! Send this card to your Art teacher, a friend who loves art or just cut off the cover and use it as a poster! Well, see ya next time!
